My diorama won a first place in the creative dioramas category. The theme was Sewing Up A Storm.

I was totally emotional when I saw that my entries had all placed in the competitions. This was the first time I entered a competition at the Barbie Convention. My diorama took a first place ribbon as did my Sister fashions. My photography took a second place ribbon. I had so much fun creating these. I think that was the best part of entering. I got to play more than usual! I love making dioramas to recreate life in miniature. That is why I love these Puchi Petites. I used many of them in my photography entry. If you look closely at the individual photos you will see many different pieces from the Mini Sweets, Fun Meals, Is Dinner Ready, and My Sweet Recipe. I have the individual photos used in my entry posted on the Photo Gallery page.

The Friday evening on location was loads of fun and excitement. The table centerpieces were stunning. They were fashioned around the famous fashion photograph of Dovima and the Elephants. I was so thrilled to be the lucky winner of it. I just happen to have a realistic 15" elephant that is so perfect to pair with this centerpiece!
